OPI A Color to Diner for
This is a gorgeous shade from OPI's Touring America Fall 2011 collectionI know most people describe it as a berry, or wine and in the bottle it kind of is...on me it's a gorgeous red that when the light hits the fuchsia shimmer turns to a lovely red wine shade.See now it looks more wine toned and the hidden shimmer peeks outI added a little of the mylar flaky glitter from Born Pretty Store to my
Spicing up the black
Hey lovelies :) I was in the mood for a dark mani a few days ago and so reached for my black nail polishes. Not wanting a pure black mani, I used some layering polishes to spice it up a bit and here is the result!
I applied one coat of Ulta3 black satin onto my nails and then layered with China Glaze White cap and OPI Servin' up sparkle. Onto my accent nails, I applied two coats of Orly Matte vinyl and decorated my fourth finger with some stars, pearls and rhinestones from the nail art etailer Born Pretty Store. I felt the star was fitting as the mani gave me a spacey feel. How's that for a shooting star attempt? :P
A couple of photos in the sun to show the bling and glory of Servin' up sparkle :) I love these holo glitters ♥
It's not much, but I like it for it's simplicity and prettiness.

Some more purple for you :)
Hey everyone~ You know I love purple, I know I love purple and so of course, here's another purple mani :P I loved my blue mani so much I decided to recreate it, purple style. First photo is taken under direct sunlight, the rest indoors with natural lighting.
I thought I'd spice up the mani with a few 3D accessories. Besides the silver rhinestone, all were from the cheapest nail art etailer Born Pretty Store. They have such amazing nail art supplies, from thin nail brushes to stamping plates - and all with free shipping too! Check out the discount coupon on my sidebar for a further 10% off their already cheap prices - just type in PIJ31 into the respective spot when you check out.
Look at how the heart decals shine and flash from purple to blue to green to gold...it's beautiful ♥ These heart decals can be purchased from Born Pretty Store as part of a set of 12 with various other designs provided. Check out the rest of the nail art glitter decoration here :)
The polishes I used in the mani are:
China Glaze Light as air
Ulta3 lily white, twilight fever
Twilight fever definitely looks like another Chanel Paradoxal dupe. What was once a rare thing to come across in Australia has become too easy, I think Australis also have a dupe and I also own a Sportsgirl dupe. I might post a comparison of it with twilight fever later.
I actually love this mani so much I'm still sporting it after 3 days and going strong... :P Definitely a record for me! What do you think of it? :)

Rose water decals
Hello~ :) Woohoo, I've finally finished exams and am ready to party haha ♥ I wore this mani into my exam and was constantly distracted by it...good thing it was an easy exam :P The full nail water decals are from Viva la nails and part of the blogger sample pack I received awhile ago.
I spent waaay too much time trying to get the water decals to work though, they just refused to dry and stick onto my nails! :( And on top of that, I ruined my pinky one and had to make do with left over decals. Because of the oopsies I made, I used some rhinestones and bullion beads I received from Born Pretty Store - a nail art etailer - to cover them up. I loove the rhinestones, they're so easy to use :)
And a picture of the rhinestone wheel. My favourite has got to be the beautiful light blue under the purple rhinestones on the left. It seriously flashes so many colours ♥

Alluring courage
Hi~ :) I'm lame and decided to combine the two polish names to create my post title. Hopefully my mani sort of redeems this post :P. I was in one of those 'I dunno what to wear but want to polish my nails' mood and so opted to go with a shade which I have the most number of polishes - purple. Actually, I've never counted but I'm assuming I have more purple than any other shade since I'm a purple lover. Maybe that's something I can do next time I'm bored...hehe :P.
So anyway. Below I have two coats of Ulta3 Allure on my nails and China Glaze C-c-courage on my thumb and fourth finger. C-c-courage was the very first China Glaze polish I ever wore and it also made its debut in my first and second posts of this blog :).
I applied a nail sticker which I received from Born Pretty Store and added a rhinestone and pearl to my middle finger. I quite like how this mani turned out, despite having no idea what to do in the first place!
What do you think of the mani? And more importantly, are you a purple lover? :D

When you're in a rush...
**Thank you blogger, for eating this post up :(. At least it wasn't totally deleted though...**
Hey everyone~ Suede/matte polishes are such useful polishes when you're short for time. They dry extremely quickly and are pretty easy to apply.
Below I have two coats of OPI Lincoln park after dark suede and Zoya Harlow.
Wanting to spice things up, I then added some nail stickers I received from Born Pretty Store.
I finished the mani with a top coat to protect the stickers. Unfortunately they didn't stay on too well this time. This mani didn't even last a day without some of the stickers falling off.
What do you think? Do the polishes look better suede/matte or glossy? ^^ And have a look at my Thank you-Sorry giveaway :) here if you haven't already!

Random nail art with nail stickers~
Hey everyone~^^ I was feeling really random the other day and so tried out some of the nail stickers I received from Born Pretty Store awhile ago.
I applied two coats of Misa Office polish-tics on to my fourth finger and OPI Siberian nights on to my other nails. The flower nail stickers were randomly stuck on and I added a rhinestone to my middle finger. I used the bullion beads to make a design around a pearl before sealing them all with a top coat. I'm not sure I like this, but I don't hate it.
The nail stickers held on well for the 1 1/2 day I had this manicure. The bullion beads however, didn't stay on for long. By the end of the first day, some of them had already fallen off. I'm not sure if it's my lack of experience with them which affected this though, so I might review them again another time.
Checked out my Thank you-Sorry giveaway :) here yet? ^^

Born Pretty Store pretties
Hello~ This is a scheduled post, as you read this I'm probably on my way to camp for the long weekend :). I'm excited to say that I recently received some products from Born Pretty Store to review. The online store is dedicated to stocking mani nail art and other nail related items. They also stock beauty and make up related items so do check it out if you're interested :)
The products I received are:
12 Color 3D Steel Ball Nail Art Glitter Decoration
10 x Flower 3D Nail Art Tips Decals Stickers Manicure
Glitter Silver Line Nail Art Tip Decoration Striping Tape Glue
I thought I'd try out the striping tape first and here's my result. The base polish is China Glaze Wagon trail. Top picture was taken indoors under natural light, the second under the sun. I quite liked how the striping tape added something more to my mani although you can see my inexperience by the dodgy cutting haha. The striping tape stayed on quite well for the two days I wore this mani. I love that they are so simple to use once you're more used to them, I think I'll be ordering some more!
The above product was provided to me for a review. This has in no way influenced my opinion and I have stated my honest thoughts on the product. For more information, please see my disclosure policy.

The Hello Kitty Murders
If you have not figured it out yet....I adore hello kitty. Have you seen my shoes?Seriously I'm a 37 year old with Hello Kitty shoes and I need another pair just for a back up!=(^_^)=I was sent the set of 12 image stamping plates from Born Pretty Storea while ago and one just happens to have a Hello Kitty image. I have been pondering how many ways I can use that image (A LOT) and decided what is

Nail Art, nubbins and my secret project
I have so much to post...were to start...
Last Sunday I sat with my sweet neighbor lady's adorable Motherwho fell while I was there.(She was not hurt) While picking her up off the ground I managed to snap my middle fingernail off. So that meant filing the rest down to match. So now I have tiny baby nubbins. What do you do with nubbins? You decorate them!I had been swatching so I can't remember the

My most belove Makeup brushes! (These will not make your wallet cry)
Just a little background on my makeup brush issues...I have had 30 or more sets of makeup brushes. Some very high end, Pro, E.L.F. (these are pretty good), I've been through them all. Some are worth their weight others are recycle bin warmers at best.
I found these two sets of brushes at Born Pretty Store (yes the nail art heaven site)And I figured for the price they were worth checking out. So
