I moved home from University today so everything is all over the place and I don't know how I'm going to fit two rooms worth of stuff in to just one! It's incredible, the sheer amount of 'stuff' that you can accumulate. Seems like not much of it is actually that important but I still feel like I need it all!

Thanks for the great response to my EOTD's. I honestly didn't think they would solicit much of a response but you seem to like them so I'll keep them coming!

I hope you like the little animation I made. It was a last minute idea so the make-up's already been on for a few hours and is not perfect, but in the future I'll definitely be trying to do GIFs like this for my EOTD posts.

On my last EOTD post, Alice asked what brushes I use so I thought I'd show you. Here they are...

The short and wide one on the left is E.L.F.'s eyeshadow brush which you can buy here. The other two are from the brand, 'Royal' and I picked them up in Poundland. They're both the same but I use one for light shades and one for darker colours.

This is a look I wear all the time when I go on a night out, normally false eyelashes added in too to add to the party peeper look! It's my twist on a classic smokey eye, I use a dark purple which I think compliments my eye colour better than heavy black or grey.

As well as nails, I also really love make-up. Since I joined the blogging world and discovered the huge variety of topics that are covered by bloggers, I've started reading more and more beauty blogs.

I've been posting on another blog which I call 'my beauty blog' (because I couldn't even think up a decent name for it and I hate saying the one it has) but because my heart is really in nail blogging, beauty has become an 'on-the-side' project and I don't feel like it really warrants a whole other blog. So I thought that today I would post an Eye Of The Day (EOTD) and see how you guys react to its presence here on The Nailasaurus. I just figured that these are the kinds of posts I look forward to seeing on other blogs so perhaps there will be readers here that like them too.

If it gets a good reaction, I'll post more make-up looks in the future. It will never take over the purpose of this blog, which is nails and nail art, and the posts will be few and far between without a lot of my chatter like this one! I think I'll put a little poll over in the sidebar where you can vote whether you'd like to see these kinds of posts or whether you'd prefer it if I just stick to the nails!

Manhattan 2 in 1 compact powder and make up in one (Color in rose)
Bottom eyeliner: Manhattan X-Treme last eyeliner (Black)
Top eyeliner: Essence eyeliner pen (Black)
Eyebrows: Isadora eye brow pencil (Black)
Mascara: U.M.A WOW false lash effect (Black)
Urban Decay eyeshadow primer potion
Eyeshadow: Isadora Eyeshadow Quartet 31 Gold (It has 4 eyeshadows with no names) 2 different browns, 1 beige and 1 gold.
Lip Liner: Mary Kay Dark Berry
Lip Stick: Maybelline Jade Water Shine Toffee
